Up for Sale is a Savage Model 1899 M99 lever-action rifle in .250-3000 Savage Manufacturer Date is 1949. This rifle is in great condition for its age. The bore is shiny and bright, with crisp rifling. The barrel is 24 inches long and the rifle weighs approx. 7 ½ lbs. The barrel has some light marks, but nothing significant. Lever is color case hardened. The receiver is properly drilled and tapped for scope mounting - some bluing loss on receiver. Comes with rear sight, Marble peep sight with different apertures, and weaver style base if you desire optic use.
