the Last Block of serial numbers for S.A. Last Block 2,656,149 to 4,100,000
Springfield Armory. Actual serial numbers assigned up to 3,888, xxx
(actual number not known). End of contract October 1945.
Vintage stock. No markings on stock. From CMP Muzzle Reading 1- Throat Reading 2.
