** REDUCED **
This is a MilSpec PVS-24/M2124 Clip-on Night Vision Device (CNVD) built by L3/Insight as a “finished good”. This unit was my demo/sales sample when I was a rep for them. It was issued to me in 2013. In 2017, I left L3/EOTech, and went to work for a rifle manufacturer. (The grass is always greener, right...?!) When I did, I was given the opportunity to purchase anything uncontrolled from my kit, and this was one of the Clip-op pieces I bought.
In late 2018, it was returned to L3/Insight for service because a guy I loaned it to put it on an AR50... L3/Insight replaced everything but the housing. (Tube, battery box, entire electrical assembly, glass... Everything.) When I received it back from L3 in, March I believe, of 2019, it has been turned on twice. Once to verify function immediately after receiving it and again to take the attached images. All in all, it probably has 10-minutes with the tube powered up since being rebuilt. For all intent and purposes, this is a brand new M2124.
This model clips in front of your day optic, so no need to worry about reticle burn-in, like with a PVS-14. It is only designed to work in front of a 1-4x, but I've used it at 6x. It's just very grainy.
Will come with original padded case, one CR123 battery, and never opened (it's a ZipLoc baggie, but...) US Military issue cleaning and care kit. For the right buyer, and with due consideration of course, I might be persuaded to add in a Standard/Full Power accessory that will make this unit (or any weapon- or helmet-mounted NV) function significantly better...
I might entertain trades, but fair warning: It's probably going to have to be something special for me to go for it. I've been a firearms industry rep for a long time, and have safes full of ARs and AKs. I'd, mainly, be interested in a Staccato plus cash (depending on included accessories), a HK SP5 plus cash (depending on included accessories), or a PTR-9C a CZ Scorpion Pistol plus cash. I might even consider a CZ Scorpion Pistol and cash. The better equipped with a lower round count, the less cash I'd need along with it. No matter what, the worst I can say is, “no,” so go ahead and let me know what you have!
Let me know if you have any questions.
